.:' GiZmO ':.
Hi, I came up with an image of OSx86 10.4.7 and decided to set it up. I've burned the image (everything went just right) but when I try to boot, the computer freezes on the gray screen with the Apple Logo. I tryed the verbose mode, and noticed that the whole boot proccess freezes while searching (or something) "APPLVIAATADRIVER". I noticed a 4 digit number "8233". I think that this is my soundcard, but i'm not quite sure... Does anybody know how to get over with it and proceed with the installation? P.S. I tryed installing on a virtual machine, using VMware Workstation 5 and everything seems to be ok (haven't finished installing though. The installer is copying the files right now). Thank you in advance! Edited February 14, 2007 by gizmo9002 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42358-via-p4x266-vt8753/ Share on other sites
.:' GiZmO ':.
After googling it a bit, I found out that it was indeed my soundcard. I tried disabling it from the BIOS but didn't help. Hoping to see a reply soon... Thanks again!
