Hi to all,

i am new in this forum and i have a great problem that i can't install the MacOS on my Dell Dimension 9200. After booting the DVD, the message "Still wait for boot device" is on the screen. I have search in this forum, and other people write that the DVD-ROM Drive must be jumpered as Primary Master, because on my Dell PC there only SATA Drives, no IDE Drives. I try to install on a extern USB-Harddrive, on a clean intern Harddrive, but it doesent works. I have disabled all the other SATA Port's that don't need (second DVD Burner etc..) in the BIOS. What can i do now????

bye Chris...

PS: Sorry about my bad english, i am german!

I think you can try to use a USB external DVD-ROM.

My dell gx620 has PATA for DVD-ROM
