MyghKaR5b Posted February 14, 2007 Share Posted February 14, 2007 Building Hackintosh for PC Game but want rock solid OS X. I just wanted to know if anyone recommends a motherboard to start out with. This will be my main system so I need OS X to run perfectly and will boot into my second hard drive with windows for gaming occassionally. I'm purchasing an 8800GTX without a doubt, what impact will that have on OSX? I don't need 3d accel in osx just basica rendering so if it functions at crippled speeds that's ok Looking for a 1ghz FSB preferably on the mobo. The 8xxx series cards only give basic graphics support as OS X does not support them. That's all I feel like answering right now.
