Hey guys, I thought I could come to you for some help. I was wondering if I could run osx86 on my computer. I have a Toshiba Satellite A15-S129 and here are the specs. Just want to make sure that it would run fully and have no problems with sound or any incompatibility issues. Thanks! If you could IM me on Aol Instant Messenger that would be great to, I would greatly appreciate it....Gnarley190

I went to this page http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page and could not find my laptop (Toshiba Satellite A15-S129) on there. I had read in a previous compatibility post that I should check there if I couldnt find anything, to come here and ask for help.

Thanks again,

May be a year later, but if you're still looking to get this same rig up and running in OSX, I had a good deal of luck using JaS 10.4.6 as an install disc. My current Hackbook is a Toshiba A15-S127 which is nearly identical in terms of hardware to yours.

So far here's what works and what doesn't: Everything seems to run fine straight from install with the exception of Power Management (Battery Status indicator/Sleep options), and the PCMCIA Cardbus Slot.

The Power Management options can be fixed via a simple download here in the forums, and I've only made small progress with the PC card slot. Other than that, all hardware seems to be recognized and works fine.

A15-S127 has a 2.0Ghz Celeron, 1 Gig of Ram (worked fine with only 256Mb), and a 60 gig drive.

CD burner was recognized and burned an audio CD through iTunes just fine, so burning works as well.

Testing it against a real Macbook dual core with 2 gigs of ram, i actually BEAT it in boot up time.

So give it a shot if you're still interested. PM me with any problems or questions.
