Black Screen with Cursor after Install .7 or .8

Hi,

 

unforturatly I did not backup my running 10.4.6, running as a Logic-Node.

 

Now I installed the 10.4.8 (Mac OS X 10.4.8 - JaS AMD Intel SSE2 SSE3 incl. PPF1)

 

I even tried an 10.4.7 install dvd (maybe jas)

 

installation runs and after rebooting from HD I only get a black screen with a blinking

cursor.

 

My Hardware:

 

Asus P4C800-E Deluxe

Matrox G450

Intel Northwood (mmx, sse, sse2)

(what else is important to know?)

Firewire Edirol FA-66 (I hope this interface will work, logic pro 7 (original) did work on my last system...)

 

what options should i check in the installer and which one should I not install?

 

I hope to get some help here after reading this forum and the one on http://www.osxx86.info/ -

I was not able to find the Information that ist important for me.

...after maybe the 6th installation (some minutes ago) I got a new problem:

 

"Unable to find driver for this platform "ACPI" and a crash (press powerbutton....)

 

I turned ACPI 2.0 Suppurt of in Bios and ACPI APIC Support OFF
