Hello Friends

Im a Mac Freak. In the past i ve used Flyakite to "fake" Xp as Mac but it used to slow my pc.

Now coming to pc config

AMD Athlon 64bit processor sitting on a ASUS K8v-MX motherboard. With a 512 DDR2 RAM as the only support. No GRAPHIC/SOUND card as of now ( Will be buying when i get this month's pay Can anyone suggest a 256mb graphic which is supported by this n my board too)

So I ve installed XP a hell lot of times. and REDHAT Ent Linux some 5times. I ve used Linux but no good at terminal. So this is where i stand technically.

Now coming to wat i tried. I first by deleting a 15GBportion of hard drive( using disc management option in XP) n then totally unformatted hard drive(did this using hiren's boot cd>>Partition magic). In both cases. Got past the grey screen only to get hit by an error.

Can somebody tell me how to proceed from here.

If somebody lists out(or gives a link) of possible commands that v need to use during installation It would really help

The grey screen is the first thing i see.

the grey screen with apple logo in the middle comes There is a wheel whiose spokes spin for a while Then screen goes black All of sudden, some lines of code keep flashing on the screen at a rapid rate that its hard to read it. Then it checks bus 16 n 80 alternatively(fails in each attempt) then this error msg.
