grav
I've just installed OS X 10.4.6 on a Pentium 4 and everything is working nicely. I'm even running 1280x1024 with the standard VGA drivers. But of couse it would be nice to have a gfx card that OS X recognized (the built-in is a 845G). However, the machine only has a PCI port, no AGP port, so I'm wondering what cards can be recognized in OS X? I don't need fancy 3D acceleration, but QE and CI support would be nice. Any recommendations? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42143-what-pci-graphics-card/ Share on other sites
De-Rail
I am pretty sure that they made a PCI version of the 6600, but from what I've seen, they're pretty rare. If you can grab one of those, you'll be in business.
