BMC6053
Do a search for AMD Enabler - I saw it someplace in the forums - It could fix allot of issues for you if you havn't used it already. Also using the disk utility and repairing permissions MAY help. Also, because I have an Athlon 64 300+ (Cheap, but the venice core makes it easy to oc), I can't touch points with dual core - but another route would be if at all possible within your bios is to disable a core or via the a boot perimeter. For the life of me, I swear I saw somthing someplace for that here 2 I just can't remember what it was. CPUS=1 maybe or something along those lines. BMC6053
Sorry for the useless info then. Do you get any errors when booting with -v? Any kexts not loading? Hopefully someone will come along with some real knowledge. I only know what I experienced or read looking for solutions mostly. I never had freezing probs myself unless you consider the system not shutting down properly.
