afaik, nobody (or maybe its just hardly anyone) has yet gotten both cores on a dual-core laptop to work. most folks have to disable one core to get OSX to run at a decent speed.

check the tutorials section - in the stickied bit there are the 'compilations' (or as i like to call them, the 'State of the Art') - have a look there for info, or check the HCLs on our wiki.

both cores working perfectly on HP DV9220US:

Core2 Duo 1.6 (both cores working)

sound: OK (no headphone out yet)

GeForce Go 7600 256MB: QE,CI (natit)

wired lan: OK

wireless lan (no deal) Belkin USB wireless working

sata: working

dvd burner: working

remote: volume works
