br0mandude
Ok, here's the deal. I want to start purchasing componets to build a PC that will work with OS x86 10.4.8, with as little patching as possible. MY main frustration is finding the perfect motherbopard for my needs. I will be creeating and recording music on this soon to be computer, so I want a Core2 Duo prossessor. So my question is, what Core2 Duo compatiable motherboard should I purchase in the $100 - $250 price range? IS there Core2 Duo motherboard that works with no patching? Please fill me in folks, thank you. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42044-motherboard-selection/ Share on other sites

zikade
I could recommend the ASRock ConRoe-945G DVI; Networking and Sound (stereo out only) needed patching. Sound seems to be the only thing which does not work fully; Much better than my previous motherboard...
