Linux(has weird problemS) and OSX been giving me this problem. Using the latest DVD 10.4.8 AMD/Intel w/ ppf patch integrated I had installed before great. Now no good. I even tried repair permissions,, tried makin the partition active. tried booting with the dvd nothing. so I had to install it now with the old 10.4.8 dvd anyone ? joe75
If you've been reinstalling Vista allot, it may have screwed up the mbr or done something to the disk. Try reformatting the osx disk/partition to fat32 or ntfs and update or fix the mbr, then reformat back osx and try to install. Did you try fdisk in terminal?? RobNyc
I've used Linux (fdisk), installed Win2003. Installed Linux etc. I downloaded now the new JAS OSX 10.4.8 AMD/INtel sse2/sse3 w/ the Disk utility patch already done that was released on demonoid a few days ago and its working fine now. Now finally Parallels has usb support so I wont really need windows for much just for gaming Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42033-system-config-file-comapplebootplist-not-found/#findComment-304025 Share on other sites
