mc__
My nforce4 onboard networking card is installed correctly,im using the forcedeth driver. But if I try to setup networking with the Nework Setup Assistant it doesnt work. DHCP gets totally wrong values. But lucky me im an old unix user so i decided to try it with ifconfig. But ifconfig wont let me change the broadcast ip. I tried "sudo ifconfig en0 broadcast 192.168.0.1" but ifconfig still says that the broadcast ip is 192.168.0.255. I hope that some may help me. Thanks in advance! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41988-nforce4-onboard-network-cant-connect/ Share on other sites
Big Daddy
I have Nforce4, and the ethernet worked for a while, and stopped... I did a complete manual configuration on it, with a static IP for the interface, forced the router setting as well as the gateway...and now everything works great.
