Yar0niX
I am dual booting using vertigo173s video guide. I can do everything succesfully besides actually booting the OS X DVD. In his video, it shows a boot selector and he selects the DVD drive to boot but for me, I just get an error when it tries to boot the OS X (JaS 10.4.6 DVD) that says System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found. Other people have been having this problem but I still cannot find a fix. My PC Specs: ASUS P5B Deluxe Core 2 Duo E6400 2gb ddr 800... Is there something I missed and cannot find because this problem is bugging me really bad. Thanks in advance Edited February 11, 2007 by Yar0niX Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41891-system-config-file-comapplebootplist-not-found/ Share on other sites

*MiK
This problem is related to the jmicroon ide controller on the asus mainboard. I have had it too. My solution was to install the osx using the vmware method (search for the topic): by using a partition as virtual disk.
