Rhynri
Oky, got OSX to bootload... and it loads a bunch of stuff, then hangs on "Waiting for root drive" I can tell you why too.. I installed it on one of the controllers in my pc (OSX install sees it fine) then moved it to another controller, and in the process made it the *nix equivalent of /dev/sdc1 when it was /dev/sda1 before... so perfectly understandable that it flips out trying to mount stuffs... So.. the quick and easy solution to this would be to mount it under linux and just edit whatever file it is (equivalent to /etc/fstab/ ) that mac osx uses to figure out what to mount where. Now, my question is "Which file do i edit?" Thanks for the help! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41887-waiting-on-root-easy-fix/ Share on other sites
