I've the problem too, I was using Parallels Desktop 3.0 on my 10.5.8 but 10.6.2 won't let to install Parallels Desktop 3.0 and I installed Parallels Desktop 5.0 and got the massage. "Unable to start the virtual machine "Microsoft Windows XP".

The virtual machine cannot be started because the hardware virtualization support is disabled on your Mac. Try to restart your Mac. If it doesn't help, contact the Parallels support team for assistance".
