Hey,

I have been looking and can not find any information regarding dual-booting with Vista and OSX

Everytime I install vista first, OSX overwrites the bootloader. When I boot to the Vista disc to reset the boot loader, the repair function can not see my Vista install. If I try to just ax the Vista install and create a new one, Windows can not install to the hard drive (any of the three partitions I have on the 100GB drive). It just gives me an error message saying there are no compatible partitions (this includes the blank one, and the NTFS one).

If I install Vista, then OSX, then linux (to get GRUB and play with linux), when I choose the windows option from the GRUB menu, it gives me an error regarding "bootmgr.exe" for windows...

Any ideas?

P.S. this is the internal HDD on an E1405/640M Inspiron (dell)

P.S.S. anyone know how to get internal ethernet working on an E1405/640M?

P.S.S.S. anyone know how to get internal sound working on an E1405/640M? I do not know what type of card it comes with, but all the E1405/640M machines have the same card
