VaiOSX Posted November 6, 2005 Share Posted November 6, 2005 Finder menu, preferences,, general, Show these items on the Desktop : uncheck hard disks. before doing this you can make an alias (Command (the apple) key + L) on every hard disk partition you want to see on the desktop. There is another way, but use it at your own risk (i haven't really tried it) : You can unmount your windows partition in Disk Utility. I'm not sure if windows will boot after. (according to your boot loader) hope this will help.
