LaChoz
I have been searching a solution for 2 days but i can't find any I have an ATI Radeon 9600 pro AGP 256mo, installed callisto 008 drivers package, when i filled my dev/vend (4150/1002) id in CallistoHAL.kext, my video card has been well recognized but i can't boot the system after apple's logo in normal mode, i have a blue background with my mouse and as soon as Mac os x begins to load system, the monitor switches off, i know it does this when i set a wrong refresh rate on windows... In safe mode (-x) i boot the system and have all resolutions up to 1280x1024@60, but then audio is disabled and system is slow I think that in normal mode, it boots with a wrong refresh rate and i can't find a way of forcing to boot with a specific one, or maybe it is another problem ?? thanx for any clue ! galavoxx
I had a similar problem but with a different card. What fixed it for me was to go into the Bios and changing the video settings to match the card. I have the onboard GMA 950 and when I added a cheap PCIe, I found the bios was set to Auto and the ram numbers were off. Make sure you have 256mb listed as your proper ram and select PCIe as your output, assuming your card is PCIe. Or maybe you already did this, in which case, I have no idea how to fix.
