macphreak4evr
I have been testing all kinds of different hardware and machine types to see what works well , what does not. My latest (2) machines are a HP Workstation X1100 and a HP DC7600SFF PC, OS X 10.4.6 jas patched Both install just fine on custom selecting the correct packages. but the 7600's finder will display the search icon in the top right, (where the clock normally is) and then crash, same for clock, It will display on desktop, but not in menu bar. I tried a Nuke/Reinstall but no luck. same thing, on both PC"s the log shows "mds crashed" (over and over and over again) "excessive crashes on .spotlight-V100" is there anything I can do to kill them.
