ghsu3d Posted February 8, 2007 Share Posted February 8, 2007 hey all i'm running a 10.4.8 on with fully working audio & video graphics and network capablities however for some reason Aperture wont start up, it installed fine but whenever i try and start it up i get an error saying "your computer does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Aperture" anyone know why its doing this? how to fix it? thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On the same post there is a link to this site: http://creativebits.org/photography/apertu...its_the_streets that will explain how to use Hexedit to bypass the post-installation hardware check (title of post is "Runs on any Mac"). Worked like a dream and I'm in like Flynn. Credit to GmanBen for the origonal memory fix post and jzr from the second link for the happy happy post-install fix.
