JustInSane
I need to backup a large multi-volume iTunes library, containing both MP3 and unprotected AAC files (m4a). iTunes does the multi-volume backup quite well because it prompts for the next DVD disc; but it only works when all files in the library are MP3 exclusively. However, the only way iTunes will backup AAC files is to expand them to red book format or transcode them to MP3. Nero would work if it could handle multi-volume backups.. but it doesn't. I don't think Toast does either. What do you folks recommend? Are there any iTunes plugins that will handle this? I am open to using a Mac or XP machine for DVD burning. [EDIT] I think I see what my problem was. Advanced options gives a choice between "MP3" and "Data" discs. I may have had it set to MP3 previously.
