It seems like OS X's system profiler isnt recognizing my PCI ethernet card based on the Realtek RTL8139 Series. It' also doesnt recognize any other PCI cards in my system. My motherboard also has built-in ethernet (this is the same Xpress 200-based system that I had ATA trouble with)

It boots, and everything runs, just, i'd like to have ethernet....It recognizes my onboard firewire as a network port strangely :tomato:

I have seen that the Apple Realtek8139 kext is loaded, but it cant run because it can't find valid versions of IONetworkingfamily.kext and IOPCIfamily.kext , even though they're loaded too.

Does anyone know where to find the latest versions of these for 10.4.7?

Click on the first link I showed you, then on the second bullet, click on "link."

Actually, before you do that, repair disk permissions in disk utility (are you getting the "Extension not properly installed" message after startup? if so, repari disk permissions)
