GLucas
Got a laptop with an AMD Turion 64 and when I run the DVD it just stands on the installation loading screen with the apple in the center. Any ideas? Should I just get 10.4.8? Regards Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41463-jas-1047-on-compaq-laptop/ Share on other sites
kevinosx
Glucas, nex time when you load it before you go through the loading process enter -v at the install boot screen (push enter to start darwin....), this will show you what's going on behind the scenes, then report back here on what line it get's stuck on!, Also, what speed did you burn the dvd at? I would recommend the latest version but it isn't hard to upgrade from the one you are attempting to install!
