Scotty geek
Ok now that I have a fully functional hackintosh I have to challenge myself now. I have been thinking to help speed up the install process for all of the other software packages why not try to integrate other installers into the OS. I use applications like iLife, iWork, etc. Plus I use small apps which are just copied to the Applications folder. IS there a way that I can somehow intergrate the installers from iLife, Iwork, or have a script that will copy those simple applications into the OS install? Pretty much like creating an OS restore DVD set, like what ships with the real macs. Any one have suggestions or pointers where I can research this? Thanks Scotty
munky
Mr Malicious provided some good info here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=38348 But it mystifies me why those who figured it out in the first place didnt share their findings, though I guess it kept the number of 'distributions' nice and manageably low. (eg JaS, Myzar, TubGirl).
