Raindance
These are known Vista problems. They're the main reason I've stopped using Vista and gone back to XP. These issues will supposedly be addressed in the first SP for Vista. BTW, there are some hotfixes from MicroSlug for these issues. Google them and check it out. Might fix your problems. -rain- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41305-sleep-and-hibernate-issues-on-vista/#findComment-340875 Share on other sites
Universe_JDJ
I've never had these problems -- it must be specific to your hardware.... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41305-sleep-and-hibernate-issues-on-vista/#findComment-341461 Share on other sites
Chad Killingsworth
This is an issue caused by the Microsoft chipset drivers. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929909 I've been able to fix this issue on my Mac Book Pro, by downloading the chipset drivers from Intel. However, the auto install didn't actually install the drivers. I downloaded the zip version and manually updated the drivers on each intel device in the device manager. I haven't had the issue since.
