jackboxx Posted February 6, 2007 Share Posted February 6, 2007 (edited) hi, im new to this forum and would like to say hello. its good to have this place. my problem: i tried to install the 10.4.7 Jas in vmware. i partitioned the disk with the disk utillity and installed it. but after a successful installation, the os hangs with the request to restart. any idea? j i have an dell inspiron 9400 with a centrino duo (sse2+3) an nvidia geforce go 7800. Zizou Posted February 6, 2007 Share Posted February 6, 2007 it's no problem if it hangs after a SUCCESFULL install. It often happens, most likely the cause is an old kernel, or something like that.
