If it's software RAID (no hardware controller) or sorta hardware RAID (NVRAID) then forget about it. If you have a RAID controller card that actually uses hardware, then maybe somebody has cooked up a KEXT for it. You would have to make your own install disc that autoloads this imaginary KEXT so that Disk Utility can see it, and make the partition, install etc... from there.
