Hey, Friend was getting rid of some hardware. I picked up a Tyan s2925, and a AMD 64 3200. My video card is a Nvidia 7600GT.

As an afterthought, I attempted to install OSX on this computer. Im pretty sure this hardware isn't supported, but Ive not seen a definitive answer.

If I boot with my 10.4.1 install DVD it comes up fine, to the point where it asks what hard drive to install to. None of my drives appear. Im assuming that OSX does not recognize my SATA controller.

I put an IDE drive in the system. It boots off the DVD, detects the drive and installs fine. OSX seems to run quite nicely, apart from not detecting my network cards, sound card (creative X-fi) and from what i can tell using a default driver for video (everything is in 16bit and kinda choppy in video.

Im new to this OSX86 thing. Ive successfully installed it on a few 945 boards at work (no challenge there) and have a fair amount of Linux/BSD knowledge. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

This was the only post which mentioned the motherboard. Same problem too with this motherboard. I have attempted to install Leo4All v.2 and it appears that the SATA drive is not recognizable. I wonder if there is any BIOS setting which might allow the installation to detect it?
