Marlow
I'm having trouble installing the MacOSX_10.4.6DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso on my PC. I downloaded this image because I heard it recognizes SATA drives on an nforce4 mother board. I have my HD partitioned so that I have windows xp and then I made a FAT32 primary partition. Whenever I try installing it starts installing the base system and then gets around half way done and says "there was an error during installation". It gets through the DVD check and it recognizes my drives and can erase them. I have an AMD 3200+ cpu and a Chaintech VNf4 Ultra motherboard, and a 74gb Western Digital SATA drive. I heard you can patch an image so that it will read SATA drives but I have no idea how to do this. Is there a tutorial anywhere? Can anyone help me with this? I'd be very thankful. Marlow
OK, so no one knows what's wrong. That's fine, but can someone tell me how to patch another image for SATA drives? I downloaded the driver but I have no idea how to use it.
