floxin
System info: intel core 2 duo 2gb ram ATI mobility radeon X1400 Ralink chipset PCMCIA card TI Generic Cardbus controller Ok so I've got OS X working pretty well, and I'm learning a bunch. I wanted to try installing a PCMCIA card and cardbus drivers (followed instructions from here http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=29583 and the topic he links to, and the Ralink chipset driver which seems to just install itself) since I'm having trouble with the wired connection and my internal. After copying the kexts over, chmodind and chowning... etc I rebooted and I got stuck at the apple logo screen. This is actually the second time this happened to me, I had to redo my os x installation and it happened again. Last time I did the ralink driver first, that went through, but I did the cardbus and this happened to me. This time I did the cardbus first, it seemed to go through, but I then did the ralink driver and it happened again. I'm not sure how to read this. Looks like it's registered but something went wrong? I get one LED to turn on (Tx/Rx). I also tried booting with the card removed but that was a no go. Can anyone help me get this working, or is there some wat to "system restore". Here's the screenshot of my -v and my -s Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40897-problems-after-installing-drivers-for-pcmcia-card-and-cardbus/ Share on other sites
