Tommyuk
ok i dont know 100 what im doing, well i think i kinda do, basically i tried to record the os onto a dvd minus r, when you put it in the drive it boots but doesnt go past the grey screen, it doesnt even show that small circle / line that moves around at the bottom, so i tried it with vmware after preparing the drive, it boots up without a problem i can go through the install process wipe the drive so that it can see it, the first time when it got nearly to the end it game me options to select or de-select items to install, but it failed at like 98% after id done this, so i tried it again, this time it didnt give me the option to install or take away anything it just went through, said it had installed fully, it tried to re-boot in vm-ware and it comes up with a message that say cannot access "C:\blahblahblah link to vmware image. as the partition table or system files have been changed sins last use, please remove and re-add the machine to continue... does anyone know what might be going on? any help would be great... and sorry if you cant follow what ive said im rubbish at explaning things, just ask and ill try to do it better, thanx tom. Dr Forrester
a poster using my lingo...Nice! VmWare is nice,to try...but believe me-You want native.Really.But,if this route is easiest for you-look for the OLD Deadmoo Vmware image.Pre-installed,open with the app and you're golden.Slow as frozen asphalt, but running. My thoughts would be correlate your hardware with a particular OS X rev and try again. You've probably heard this tons of times-but the wiki is the best place to start.
