ajo
I am a helpdesk manager for law students who need the ability to dual boot mac with xp since thats the only way Examsoft will run on a MAC. Nobody in our tech department will support MAC so I want to configure a MAC in order to support them. I'm getting ready to order the MacBook with 2 gigs Ram. I need to order a copy of xp or vista(money not an issue - relative works for Microsoft so I will get that with great discount) and wondered if anyone can tell me the best one to get for this purpose - I want the os that students are more likely to be able to load themselves using bootcamp, i.e., if Vista is a lot more difficult then I would like to know that. (PS Examsoft requires they use bootcamp only) My other question besides which os is better in this case is does anyone know if the Macbook has the right graphics in the event I load Vista. Thanks for anyone's opinions for a never before MAC user. amanda Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40882-need-experienced-dual-boot-advice/ Share on other sites

htdefiant
Amanda, This summer, I transitioned a Dell lab of Windows 2000 to iMac's with OS X and Windows XP. Students love it. At this stage in the game, I'd recommend using Windows XP on that MacBook. Good luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40882-need-experienced-dual-boot-advice/#findComment-293491 Share on other sites
