pappasmurfsharem Posted February 2, 2007 Share Posted February 2, 2007 The install seemed to go well... then it comes the part about rebooting the system so i click reboot... goes to a black screen that says MACH Reboot... and seems to hang there... so i hold power button then restart comp... it goes to darwin bootloader then all the Loading HSF+ {censored} seems to fly by... then it hange after that on the black screen with a {censored}load of text on it ... at the bottom is say.. Darwin Bootloader 8.8.3 blah blah blah or something like that.... and just hangs.... tried -v same deal.... also it seems to start in verbose mode even if i dont type it... i never see the apple screen.... i had 10.4.6 originally and it started up fine... but none of my usbs worked or sound.... so this should still work right? any ideas? pappasmurfsharem Posted February 2, 2007 Author Share Posted February 2, 2007 I partitioned it on my harddrive after using Norton Partition Magic to parition out another 30 gigs selected AMD option and the ati x1x00 option turned off all excess languages Althon 64 4000+ sse2, and sse3 capable Realtek onboard sound...
