XLostSpartanX
I put the dvd in my drive and boot to it. The I get the gray screen with the apple logo. Next up I just get a blank blue screen and nothing happens. What is going on? I'm using a laptop with an Intel 945GM chipset. -Nick

manw
i have exactly the same problem. Everything installs great, but after that, i get to that dreaded blue screen, and nothing. thisaintelvis
have you tried plugging it into an external monitor? I noticed the same problem with my laptop. It would boot up fine off the install DVD but would just sit at a blue screen, so while at the blue screen I plugged in an external monitor and there was the OS X install dialog box. Installed and rebooted, unplugging the monitor after I was done installing and my laptop booted into OS X using the laptop display.
