Artreus
I am using a 1.6 GHz Dell Inspiron 9200 laptop with 512 MB RAM.

I downloaded the JaS 10.4.7 ISO and burned it to a DVD-R, I partitioned my hard drive with Acronis Disc Director Suite 10. After messing around for a while I finally managed to install 10.4.7 on the partition on my HD with the patch. I even got Acronis OS Selector to recognize it. However, when I try to boot, even with -x, -v, and -x -v; A bunch of text just flies by, no real errors that I can see show up, and the screen goes blank. Sometimes white vertical bars show up on the screen, and it stays like that.

I tried the same thing on a partition on my Western Digital 250 GB External Hard Drive, with the same results.

I am guessing my Ati Radeon 9700 video card is not supported.. in which case I am really out of luck. If that is not the case, however.. I would be pretty happy and would appreciate the help.

Edit: The processor is a Pentium M. And while booting all of the HFS+ files load just fine. Those load and then it goes to a smaller font, after which the screen goes blank, but is still lit so it looks like it is trying to display something, just with no text.. Hope that helps. I will boot a couple more times with -v to see if I can catch any errors. Artreus
I am going to download the 10.4.8 ISO and see if that works. Other than that I will just keep trying to boot 10.4.7.
