hi,

i have an ECS532. i want to try to insatll osx... my problem: it doesn't work...

when someone says that it won't work in any case, then i give up...

but maybe someone could help :censored2:

when i boot with AMD INTEL 10.4.8 SSE2 SSE3 DVD then following error comes:

panic(cpu 0 caller 0x00197641): fpu is not FP_FXSR

i think, it won't work, but maybe it is an solution for that problem out there

thanks

I've never delved into the kernel, or all its workings. This would be a question better suited for the likes of Semthex. My guess is that the FPU unit, among other things, is significantly different from supported AMD or Intel CPUs that it would need special provisions in the kernel. Without those you will not be able to get it running without virtualization. At this point, I would say virtualization is your best bet.
