guilliamo
I'm pretty happy with my genuine ATI X1600PRO 512MB PCIE using the latest Jas release. Essentially everything works, including display rotation on my 24" Dell LCD (DVI connection). The full 512mb is recognized, as is the PCIE connection. I'd expect that the Sapphire would be VERY similar to the made-by-ATI version, but don't know. Questions: Does your card have one DVI & one VGA connector ? How are you connecting ? I've heard of some better success with VGA when using the DVD-VGA adapter.
