pilsator
Change S3 Sleep Mode to S1 and It will work As much as I know S1 is not the real thing. The higher levels S3 and S4 are better at energy saving. What for do I need this? Let's say I want to record a late night TV program. Or I want to run a server. Then it would be good if the machine would completely sleep while idle. pilsator
Where can I change S1 mode to S3? In the BIOS. Most Apple users (like me) never heard of that thing. It controls bus speed, RAM speed, hd mode and so on. You have to press a certain key during boot to see the BIOS options (which key depends on your motherboard, see manual). Look for energy saver options or something like that. And take care not to change any other settings if you don't know what you do.
