sdobart Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 (edited) I've got Mac OSX all isntalled using the flat image. Everything works fine. That is, until I try to download programs like Adium and Firefox. It says to just drag the icon to applications and then run it. But when I click on it, nothing happens. Ideas? Edit: Running Dual Core AMD Opteron 165 (Socket 939) All other programs work, just the ones I'm trying to download dont. Really'd like suggestions if youve got them. ssp Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 I’ve used the amd stuff with 10.4.1 ~ 10.4.8 and found it quirky. i now use a cheap asus board and p4 with the 945 chip set. it works just like the iMac i have, its just a little louder...
