Guest IanP
Since I am using Deadmoo, I only have about 2 gb of space leftover that is usable (although I forgot about this issue and made the partition 50 gb - grrr). So, I do not have enough space to install xcode. I do, however, have a 50 gb shared FAT32 partition. How can I use "symbolic links" to install xcode on this partition. Or, better yet, is there anyway around the deadmoo only 2 gb free space thing? macgirl
You can install with Pacifist on anther drive but there are some files that need to install on the root partition because they go to some "system" directories. There are several guides and howtos (Tutorials Forum) on "grow" the deadmoo image/installation.
