I followed the tutorial on the link below to try to dual boot JaS 10.4.8 with Vista already installed. I installed it twice and followed every step and I get HFS+ Partiton Error when I try to boot Mac OS X.

The tutorial is here: http://www.profit42.com/index.php/2006/12/...ot-on-intelamd/

Here is the list of my Vista boot manager options.

Can anyone help with this please?

Thanks!

Make sure you:

- Set the OSX install partition active before installing

- After installation it has to boot the OSX partition (HFS+ partition error)

- Insert Vista install disk and set your Windows Vista partition active

- Setup the boot strings.

Then restart and select OSX.

That's exactly what I did, but it didn't work. All I got is a dual boot screen and when I select Mac OS X, the dual boot screen shows again and again and again...

Now, I partially solved the problem with this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=33216. I can now boot Mac OS X with darwin or Vista with it's boot manager (by setting either Vista partition or Mac OS X partition as active), but I don't know how to create a dual boot menu (darwin or Vista).

Oh, and one other thing. I installed Mac OS X on my laptop and my touchpad and internal keyboard don't work. Why is that?

Sorry for being a newbie :)
