Empireal
http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/1310/img0504dt4.jpg This is how I was installing it: I put the disc into my drive, and booted it up (without VMWare) The Installer came up, and I followed the instructions, but when I get to selecting the drive I want to install on, there's nothing there! I'm currently partitioning my External HD using Disk Utility, but what do I do next? How do I get the thing to install? Can somone help? Thanks you ever so much in advance! evgenisco
I think you should use disk utility to erase and format the partition you're installing to. if you can't see the partition, try formatting it in windows xp, with acronis disk director (use "ShagOS swap" format in advanced/change type), and then erase and format it with the disk utility in mac setup. also do a search in this forum for installing instructions. good luck ! Empireal
Yeah, thanks. I partitioned the HD and it worked! It has installed, and rebooted but I got the EBIOS message again. How do I 'register' & set everything up? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40229-an-interesting-problem/#findComment-287187 Share on other sites
