I have recently installed OS x on a 20gb drive. I have Win Xp Pro installed on a 30gb drive set as master

What is easiest way to dual boot system. Can i Modify the boot.ini file on XP? I have read thru the forums but it I cant figure out the easiest way.

Thanks

I don't know if this's the easiest way, but is easy. I believe that only need to add this line at bottom of your boot.ini file (the line is bold):

[boot loader]

timeout=30

default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS

[operating systems]

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

D:\="OSX86"

. I'm guessing that your 2nd HD is D, in any other instance, replace D by the proper Letter. Try it and after tell me. Good Luck !! :P.

I thnk this is the way I did it. Make both drives masters and each on its own bus. Boot. It should boot into OSX. If so, boot again, and start pressing the escape key over and over, and it should go to the harddrive boot screen... choosethe drive with xp. Easy, and no messing with the ini files.
