pail_white_kid_rapper Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 hi guys... i've been searching for an answer to this question for years now... and i hope someone here can help me... i'm trying to setup mac os 10.4.8 on my pc... the only thing thats shutting me down is, i got a trendnet tew-424ub (hard ware revision 2 i believe).... and i was wondering if theres anyway to get this to work in mac so i can get wireless net... btw if it helps.. i found out i think it has a sis chipset or something people where saying, and wndows vista picks it up as this: i have been told by a friend this: "you need a kext (driver) from osx 10.4.5 x86 the kext is called IO80211Family.kext" what does this mean?... can it be done? , thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40055-will-this-work-in-mac-os-x86/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
