nub
Do partitions have to be in a certain order? Like mac partition coming before extended?
macgirl
not realy. But is preferably that you use Primary partitions vs logical/extended.
nub
Do you know why this won't work? I had unallocated space on my hard drive. Used diskpart create partition primary size=xxxx id=af Popped in install dvd (takes forever to start up, probably my slow dvd rom) Went to Disk Utilities and formated it (might not have done this correctly. selected mac os (journaled) and hit erase) went through the install used chain0 and added it to boot.ini selected mac osx on menu and it i get "chain booting error"
