It seems really fast, but my sound doesnt work, along with my wifi (but i know i need to buy a new wifi card so..) Ive got an intagrated Realtek ACL850 on my laptop. Also the Intel Pro 1000 wired network didnt work either. Final question - What boot manager should I use to dual with XP? I want to set up 30GB for OSX and 50GB for XP. Whats the best out there? I'm actually using 10.4.3. frizbot Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 (edited) If everything works, don't update. I'm surprised screen brightness isn't controlled by the monitor. If its a laptop, try the fn + brightness keys. There's also gamma changing applications available, though they didn't work for me when I tried them in OS X86. OS X86 comes with a darwin bootloader that can recognize Windows - look up boot.plist editing and add a longer delay. I have school-installed XP, and it took them forever to set it up, or I couldnt access the network, so I dont want to loose that.
