aspec04t
I burned the JAS 10.4.8 ISO into a dvd with nero, While trying to boot from the DVD to get into the setup, i get an error: Missing com.apple.boot.plist Now here is the interesting part, I get the same DVD, place it in my laptop, and it boots into the setup screen. I have an ASUS P5B DELUXE/WIFI MOBO, and a Core 2 Duo E6300. Any suggestions to solve the problem would be appreciated. Thank you. Sailfish
I have had this issue myself. It works in one system and not another. The first thing I did was burn another disk at a slower speed. That didn't fix or change anything. So I swapped another DVD drive into my desktop as the next step. Bingo. That did the trick. On a final note... I had two or three brand new DVD drives that simply wouldn't see the disk... No explanation.... Except that the general construction of optical drives is pretty crummy...
