The Dew
I am trying to install Mac single, not duel booting with Windows. Is this possible or do I have to Duel Boot? When I try and boot the installer, I get this can't find driver for "ACPI" thing. I researched and this is a power managment thing, but I am not on a laptop and have AMD processor(Specs below). Am I able to Single boot or duel boot with my specs? AMD 64bit 3500+ ASUS A8R-MX Motherboard (Video Card Built in) 160gig Sata Hdd P.S. Using 10.4.6 or 10.4.6.7 with Jas(AMD-Intel) Edited January 25, 2007 by The Dew Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39890-single-boot-only/ Share on other sites
Anemir
I'm running a single boot only (hate vista since i have my iMac ) and ofcourse this runs without any problem. Just make shure your hard disc is formatted in FAT32 so the installer can easely transform it into a MacJournaled system. Your specs look alright. Just make shure you have te right options and installdiscs. greets Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39890-single-boot-only/#findComment-287497 Share on other sites
