iZorg
First of all, I wanna thank you all for all the help I got from this forum, whether it was replying to my threads or finding useful answers by searching the forum. I got everything working now (native!), and it really wouldn't be without you people, so again, thank you all for all your help Only one tiny problem got left - which is the sound. I know it sounds silly, but I dunno which sound card I have. I went to the device manager in Windows, and it said I have a SigmaTel sound card. Only problem is, it didn't say which model. I tried finding it out using Everest, and it said my sound card is ATI. My question is, how do I find out which one is it? And more importently, how do I make it work on OSX? Here are the two screenshots I got from the device manager and Everest: P.S - I was told it's important to state That I have IDE and not SATA. frizbot
Windows says you have the ATI SB450. It also says the motherboard is "LG", and I didn't know they made motherboards. If you look up your motherboard online, you can check what sound card you have. By the Dev and Ven (device and vendor) IDs, you have Sigmatel audio. A forum search for 7690 and 8384 will get results. There's a tutorial in the tutorials section with known fixes/drivers.
