Hi everybody,

I have lot of problems with installations, dual booting on my HP NX9110. First boot was going correct but, when I try to find drivers for net card, for video and audio card everything was wrong.

Please, what can I do with my comp?

Alex

yo ! i ve simmiliar rigs since i'm on hp nx9100

my installation works with the way like this:

install 10.4.4 myzar dvd through vmware_to_native method(since i dont have dvd drive) , update 10.4.5 + 10.4.6 (all of this i got in a bundle torrent, check demon),then upgrade to 10.4.8 using paulicat method,

getting semthex kernel, apply it, then fix realtek using the driver in this forum, then fixing soundmax(yesterday) using kext here with modification: u should know the device and vendor number, mine was like 4341 and 1002 ,so i need to change the _Via_ extensions inside AppleAC97 kext,

use katana to be able change screen resolution, use ext2fsx to be able to mount linux partition, use the powermanagement.bundle from forum to make battery etc. working.

good luck

most of your need is already available in this forum

Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.20GHz>> check that u have sse3 or sse2 (u should have sse3 imo)

Memory: 958MB RAM>> no problem

Card name: ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000/9100 IGP>> same as mine, u ll use mesa by default, use katana to change screen reso, btw i failed if i use the latest katana so i use this http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=6479

Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.

Chip type: MOBILITY RADEON 9100 IGP AGP (0x5835)>> same ,works with katana

DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz) >> not checked

Display Memory: 64.0 MB (upgraded to 128Mb)

Sound Devices: SoundMAX Digital Audio>> find vendor and device id, then use this http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=139526

edit it according your dev and ven id

Microsoft USB IntelliMouse Optical (IntelliPoint) >> works by default

Modem: Agere Systems AC'97 Modem >>not checked

Disk: FUJITSU MHT2060AT PL 60Gb

DVDRW: TOSHIBA ODD-DVD SD-R6252

Wireless: Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN>> not checked

Ethernet: Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC >> use this http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...hl=realtek+8139

Card Bus: Texas Instruments PCI-1620 CardBus Controller with UltraMedia. >>not checked
